Our Story

My name is Katherine López, I’m originally from Ecuador, and from a young age I discovered my passion for the world of beauty. I grew up surrounded by the work of my mother, a professional hairstylist, who inspired me to follow in her footsteps and find my own path in skincare.

In 2008, I graduated as a Cosmetologist, marking the beginning of a career built on passion, knowledge, and dedication. Since then, I have devoted myself to helping people improve the health and appearance of their skin, offering treatments that combine visible results with relaxation and emotional well-being.

After moving to Canada, my dream was to continue growing professionally and create a space where I could share my expertise with a community that values proper skincare. That dream came true in 2017, when I founded Kata Cosmetologist in Vancouver, BC — a studio built with love, where every treatment is designed to provide relaxation, harmony, and real results.

My specialty is personalized facials and comprehensive skincare, using advanced technology, strict hygiene standards, and offering free professional consultations for every client.
